Both of our V-boys were mental tested in Joensuu last saturday. Videos are uploaded in our pages. Test reports below:

13.11.09 Voitto in BH-test - not passed

This year has been a nightmare when considering test and trials. Tracking season was ruined by nasal mite infection and Martti didn't get his third prize for WT CH. Maybe next year...

Anyway, last saturday we participated in behaviour test with Voitto and suprise, suprise - we didn't passed. What's on earth is going on with this year?!

BH (Begleithund test) must be passed before you can participate in working dog or SAR trials in Finland. The test includes two parts (obedience and test in traffic). In obedience part there five exercises: heeling on leash, heeling off leash, sit out of motion, down out of motion and down under distraction. When training, Voitto has shown that he really can handle those exercises, but in test... it wasn't nice at all. He was... uh... frolicsome. He did all exercises but with his own style... The judge wasn't as humorist as Voitto and test wasn't passed.

Obviously Voitto needs more time (and more nervous, please). Tomorrow we are going to mental test and I really hope we find at least some nervous there...
